My boyfriend Ray wrote this. I heard it three days ago, before it had words, before he’d ever sang, and have been waiting to post it since. 

This one calls for monster moves, zombie staggers and herky-jerky twists. Monster Mash, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins and Thriller meet beneath the full moon with a howl. You’ve been bit.

“The Itch”

This is the first demo from a garage rock EP I hope to finish by the end of the summer, if not way sooner. This track was made using only an unplugged Epiphone Dot, some drumsticks, the heel of a shoe, a cup of change, and my keys. And my macbook mic.

Bear with me… this covers a lot of new territory. I’ve never sung before, I’ve never attempted mixing anything at all, I’ve never shredded a solo before, and I’ve never written a song in 4/4 (ha!).

I’m excited about it.
